Basta ginmimingaw ngani ako han akon Alma Mater, all it take to ease the loneliness is a couple of pictures the iconic obelisk, the search for truth, the beach facing the camotes sea and more. Damo nga salamat ha ngatanan nga staff han VSU Alumni Association Inc.
Haaayyy! I miss Visca. There’s no place like her. She’s the most beautiful school I’ve ever seen in my life. She produce the most intelligent and talented students. I miss my singing career in Visca hehehe… I am now in PhilRice Nueva Ecija as a science research specialist in the field of plant pathology and weed science. Nalipay ko nga sa Visca ko nakagraduate. One thing common sa mga Visca grads nga namatikdan sa mga non-viscans diri sa luzon is that aside from being intelligent, mga maayo pa jud daw manayaw, manganta, hosting in any programs, sports and drama. Actually daghan mi diri mga visca grad sa PhilRice. Basta I’m proud naggraduate ko sa Visca. See you all someday especially during anniversary. And I wish to sing you all again a beautiful song. God bless ninyong tanan.

Finally our alumni website which I can access!!!
Very wonderful! I’m also managing a number of blogs for different orgs like http://amaranthvsu.wordpress.com/ and http://thebuilders.wordpress.com/ and I could say these are very useful tools for them. If I may suggest, AA Inc deserves a more colorful theme. The theme Contempt is formal but anyway, it’s way cool. Kudos!
Who is managing the blog? I’d like to have a word with him/her/them. God bless!
As-sallam Alaikom!
Kudus to all the people who made this site possible. This will really be a great help in building a strong linkage amongst graduates of our alma mater.
Have been missing ViSCA for quite some time now. My last visit their was last May 2007 after graduating in 1997.
I can’t help but reminisce my school days in visca. Tuon sa mga lisod nga subjects, baktas padulong sa mga classrooms, ligo ug dagat compete with the rest of the students during Intramsm, etc. etc.
Thanks to all my professors in visca for teaching me sufficient statistical know-how that I can use in my work. After a decade of stint at a government statistical agency in Manila,I have taken the challenge of working at a private research firm here in the Middle East. Hence, right now, it is not only visca that I miss a lot but the Philippines as well.
Time is really running fast but the memories in visca still remains in my heart.
Regards na lang sa tanan especially sa ako fellow Stat grads sa visca.
I love the new theme and header! Ayos, dudes!
It would be nice if you put a Hits widget to see how many people have already visited the Alumni blog. http://www.clustrmaps.com/ can also give a geographical plot of the visitors…
This is helpful especially that VSU alumni are spread all over the world…
I just bumped into this site. Thanks for creating this one. We’ve been looking for a site like this.
Btw, my friends and I created a social network involving VSU alumni. It’s a kind of informal site where people have pages of their own and where co-members can post comments to.
Congrats to the admin and mods of this site!
Cheers!

Btw, I posted the link of this site the vsu social network site. If you wanna promote this site (Alumni Ass. Inc) individually, you may check on the membership of http://www.vsualumni.ning.com
Visca… is worth unforgettable! If I could remember, this is like a birthplace of my dreams…!
I miss visca.
This is great accomplishment, thank you… maybe a directory of all alumni will be interesting
information about malakas at maganda..and how it is related to your school.?
THE SEARCH FOR TRUTH STATUE (known as the “Si Malakas at Si Maganda”)
The Search for Truth Statue in front of the VSU Administration Building consists of two gigantic nude figures of a man and a woman, emphasizing partnership in the quest for truth, knowledge, and the professions. Nakedness symbolizes boldness, impartiality and unemcumbered drive in seeking for truth in its academic pursuits. The statue with inscription at its footstall was conceptualized by Dr. Fernando A. Bernardo, the first President of the Visayas State College of Agriculture. The inscription reads: “Let search for truth prevail as a dominant activity of university life. For truth is the guiding light in our paramount mission: the pursuit of excellence. A teacher must foster intellectual curiosity among students and train them in the art and science of searching for truth to achieve excellence – whether in the classroom, in the laboratory, in nature, or in society.”
At long last, we can be connected and updated. Congratulations to all who made this possible!
Visayas State University is really a paradise. A paradise within a school. A second home worthy of being your first.
For those who misses VSU, be home on August 9-11, 2010 as we celebrate our 86th Anniversary.

ViSCA was where I have spent so many memorable years.
Though, I haven’t been there since 1998, the souvenirs I have of this respectable institution remain intact and fresh.
I can still remember my Grade 6 (ViSCA Foundation Elementary School) as well as my High School years through College. My classmates, my teachers, my instructors and professors… who, one way or another, have contributed to my happy years as a ViSCAn.
And yes, I can remember that July evening of 1985 as a 20-year-old Miss ViSCA contestant representing the AE Department. My goal that evening was to win the crown so the Department would have its second crown. Just so happy to have reached my goal in that pageant.
And to Dr Guarte… Sir, thank you for being such an excellent thesis adviser to me.
How nice to hear that the VSU Alumni has a voice. A voice that reverberates all over the world. It is neat and continue the good work guys, I love this school, a foundation to everybody’s success in life.(Sa mag tiyaga lang.)
Regardless of where you are now we are loyal to you.(VSU) Right? God Bless you all. Special thanks to all mentors, all help available to the students, was certainly most appreciated, with love, respect and gratitude. ALOHA
Thank you, Ms. Weston!
Thanks, Jed!
Thanks for visiting us here, Rey!
Nice knowing all officers and more power to VSUAAI!
Dear vsualumni,
This message is especially for Jade Parkinson and I would appreciate it very much if you could forward this to her email address in your database. Thanks.
Jade,
Based on your comments, I could infer that you may belong to the ERHS alumni class ’82 (Liza, Clyde, Kano, Elmer, Jean).
If you do belong to this class, please contact one of us (search via FACEBOOK) because we planned to have our first ever reunion after almost 30 years this December 30, 2011. We have been trying to find but without success. We don’t want you to miss out.
Thanks and regards.
Elmer
Mr. Bandalan,
Your message has been forwarded already to Ms. Parkinson via email.

The thought of Visca always brings me warm memories of happy high school years. Thank you, Visca. May God bless you.
