HALAD PROGRAM
Presented during the 2008 Grand Alumni Homecoming, HALAD , is the university’s philosophy of public and volunteer service. It’s purpose is to generate resources for the university programs, make the university and its alumni more responsive to the needs of the Filipino, and develop in them a strong civic consciousness and social awareness.
The university will achieve this through integrating the HALAD philosophy in the university curriculum; developing public awareness through information and communication; forging linkages with various stakeholders; and partnering with communities for the involvement of students, faculty and alumni in the planning and implementation of development projects.
How can YOU help?
1. Scholarship: sponsor a scholar or scholars
2. Support the “University Endowment Fund” through bequeaths and cash donations
3. Support specific university or alumni-wide projects by providing financial help
4. Ask your Congressman to support the budget and programs
